Richard Gilks
Director
Richard is a qualified and licensed Plumbing Contractor with an impressive track record spanning over 24 years in the plumbing industry. With a specialized focus on remote works, Richard has amassed 18 years of invaluable experience in the field.
His expertise extends to both commercial and mining sectors, where he has successfully executed numerous projects involving transportable remote camp installations and inground civil plant and village construction.
As the driving force behind TOTAL Plumbing & Gas, Richard is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. His role encompasses project management of remote camp installation works, ensuring the timely delivery of contractual obligations, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Additionally, Richard holds a Level 4 Project Management certification, further solidifying his ability to lead and manage complex projects effectively.
Charlotte Gilks
Office Manager
Charlotte is responsible for office management at Total Plumbing & Gas. Her duties include document control, estimate and quote submissions, accounting, invoicing, and staff payroll administration.
Charlotte plays a crucial role in maintaining client relationships by handling communications and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
Additionally, Charlotte is involved in coordinating staff meetings and implementing office policies and procedures to improve operational workflows. Her attention to detail ensures the smooth running of the business.
Dylan Murray
Remote Site Supervisor
Dylan oversees remote plumbing operations in Western Australia, managing daily activities of technicians on various projects. His role involves coordinating apprentices, tradesmen, and subcontractors to ensure that each task is completed efficiently and effectively. He meticulously plans schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors progress to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
In addition to his supervisory duties, Dylan is responsible for ensuring quality service to customers. He frequently communicates with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions. His focus on customer satisfaction helps build strong relationships and repeat business.
Dylan also ensures compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHS&E) policies across all sites. He conducts regular site inspections, safety audits, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among the workforce. By staying current with industry regulations and best practices, Dylan plays a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
Jack Young
Site Supervisor (Perth Metropolitan Area)
Jack oversees Perth Plumbing operations and modular building manufacturing at our Perth facility. With extensive experience in plumbing and management, he coordinates all aspects of the daily tasks handled by plumbing/hydraulic technicians. Jack is responsible for organizing apprentices, tradesmen, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure that our services meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
Jack actively supervises the training and development of our apprentices, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. His commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment helps promote teamwork and professional growth among staff members.
Jack diligently ensures compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures across all work sites. He regularly reviews and updates safety protocols, conducts risk assessments, and implements best practices to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for everyone involved. Jack's dedication to these standards not only protects our employees but also upholds the integrity of our company’s operations and reputation.
